The social, fast-paced racket sport that's taking the world by storm. Easy to learn, endlessly social. Opening March 2026 at Trophy Lakes, Johns Island.

Padel is a high-energy racket sport played in doubles on an enclosed glass court - think tennis meets squash. Easy to learn, impossible to master, and incredibly social. If you can hit a tennis ball, you can play padel.

Here's why padel is taking over: the enclosed court means less chasing and more playing. The doubles format means you're never alone on the court. And the learning curve is gentle enough that you'll have real rallies your first time out—no six-week lesson series required. It's the most fun you can have with a racket in your hand.
This March, padel gets the club it deserves in Charleston. Not just courts, but a true social hub where the sport comes alive through community, competition, and connection.
We're building something different at Trophy Lakes: a waterfront destination where weekly tournaments, social events, and professional instruction meet the kind of welcoming atmosphere that makes strangers into doubles partners. Whether you're brand new to padel or looking for your new home court, this is where Charleston's padel community gathers.
Opening March 2026. A limited number of founding memberships are available, offering priority court access and recognition as part of the original community. Join now to secure your spot before launch.

Whether you're picking up a racket for the first time or looking to sharpen your game, The Point has something for you starting day one.

Weekly round robins help you find your skill level. Social tournaments like Americanos mix competition with community. Ladies' nights, corporate events, and drop-in play—there's always a way to get on court and improve.

Padel creates connections that last beyond the court. Four players, one court, and countless opportunities to meet people who become more than just your doubles partners.
At The Point, every game is a chance to make a new friend. Whether you're new to Charleston, looking to expand your circle, or just love meeting people through shared experiences, there's always someone ready to play. The enclosed court and doubles format mean you're constantly interacting, strategizing, and celebrating those wild wall shots together.
